He may use one or combine several of the following treatment modalities:
Dr. Kwok may also employ other useful clinical tests to help confirm/rule out certain diagnoses, check patient progress, and to help refine the treatment.
The Sonoclot Analysis is a functional look at the coagulation system. Instead of looking at individual parameters ( ex. CPR, Lp(a), homocystein, etc.). The analysis looks at the coagulation balance when all systems are in play. It is a better assessment of the patient's risk of throwing a clot or bleeding.
Clinically, this test is more accurate and practical than the general blood clotting test. The Sonoclot Coagulation Analysis can predict the risk of cardiovascular obstruction, stroke, and thrombosis more accurately for patients.
